Where and how you spend the
night during this trip:
During this trip you will spend the night in simple, but comfortable and hygienic chalets and lodges . The
accommodations can be compared to what we would call 2- or 3-star
accommodations in most European countries. You share toilet and shower facilities
during one night, while the other has en-suite bathrooms. On request we
can send an overview of the accommodations per day.
The
following is included in the travel sum:
Accommodation in simple,
but comfortable and hygienic chalets and lodges, meals , transportation on
site in a safari Van or a 4x4 jeep , guidance from registered guides,
entrances to the national parks and excursions as described in the travel
description.
The travel
sum is exclusive:
Flights, purchases of a personal nature, snacks and alcohol,
optional activities, souvenirs, tips, etc.

Trip description
Day 1: Transfer to
Kibale Forest NP
You will be picked by our company guide form either a hotel /
Entebbe International Airport by 6:30 am for a transfer to Kiabale Forest NP;
driving West wards ,enjoy the wonderful views of the country side and Rwenzori
ranges, en route stop over at Tooro Palace etc. Upon arrival, take a stride to
the beautiful crater lakes region.
Dinner and over night at Kyaninga Lodge
(Luxury), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Kibale Guest Camp (Budget)
Day 2: Chimps Tracking
and Bigodi Community Visit
Have breakfast and assemble at Kanyanchu park offices for
briefing on chimpanzee tracking exercise before embarking on this wonderful
activity. Once found, you will enjoy an hour in their vicinity, observing their
behavior while taking photographs and making videos for your memorable
experience. Later, in the afternoon, step out for a visit to the Bigodi
Sanctuary where you will be rewarded with several bird species inclusive of
those endermic to the Albertine Rift.
Dinner and over night at Kyaninga Lodge
(Luxury), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Kibale Guest Camp(Budget)
After your morning breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi Forest
NP; driving south west to Kisoro district, take in the beautiful scenery views
of the Kigezi Highlands as you head to Lake Bunyonyi – a birders’ paradise.
Proceed with your drive to Bwindi NP.
Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Jungle
(Budget / Midrange,), Chameleon Hill / Mahogany springs (luxury).
Rise early, enjoy your breakfast and assemble at the park
offices for morning briefing on the trekking guidelines before embarking on
this wonderful expedition through the thick dense canopy forest of Bwindi.
Usually, it takes about 30 minutes to several hours to encounter the mountain
gorillas; but once got, enjoy an hour with them before retrieving to the
starting point (for Certificates of Participation) before retrieving your
lodge. Later in the afternoon, head out for the Batwa pgymies tour for a
clearer understanding of their culture.

Day 5: Return to
Kampala and Departure
Enjoy your breakfast and get ready for your transfer back to
Kampala; reaching in the evening for drop off at either a hotel or Entebbe
International Airport for departure flight.
